Christian County, Missouri
Christian County is a county located in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the population was 77,422.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/29/29043.html )〕 Its county seat is Ozark.〔(【引用サイトリンク】accessdate=2011-06-07 )〕 The county was organized in 1859 and is named after William Christian, a Kentucky soldier of the American Revolutionary War.
Christian County is part of the Springfield, MO Metropolitan Statistical Area. Between 2000 and 2010, it was the fastest growing county in Missouri and one of the fastest growing in the nation as the county became more suburban due to the booming growth in Springfield.

The county is drained by James River and branches of the White River. The surface is undulating or hilly.
